PVC Sliding Systems: Tilt-and-Slide, Folding and Lift-and-Slide

Sliding systems exist in both PVC and aluminum, and can be used for windows as well as doors. They improve the quality and comfort of your living space.

Depending on the number of tracks, a system has two or three rails. A two-rail system passes two or four sashes, and a three-rail system passes three or six.

The tilt-and-slide system (PSK, also called combi) is the most common sliding system in our region. It has two or four sashes and is most often used to open large areas. It gives good sealing, security and a panoramic view.

A folding system opens the whole area through hinged sashes that stack at one end. It has no fixed vertical mullion, so the view stays clear. Classic sliding systems have two or more sashes that run on the bottom track over built-in rollers. They are flexible and open silently.

Lift-and-slide systems (sliding walls) glaze openings up to 10 m wide with up to 6 elements. The mechanism lifts the sash so it can slide, and lowers it onto rubber seals when closed. Load capacity is up to 400 kg per sash.

A tilt-and-slide system first tilts out of the plane of the frame, then slides parallel to the opening. Sealing is the same as in a classic window, and very little space is needed to open it. A vertical overlap system has one fixed and one or two movable glass sashes on two horizontal tracks, and suits glazing the terraces of cafes and restaurants. Parallel slide-and-tilt systems are intended for smaller openings, such as balcony doors.
